Construction Interior Fit-Outs Project Manager

My Essex based client is looking to add a Project Manager to their design and installation team. If you’re experienced in the management of interiors for commercial, retail or residential fit outs then we’re interested in hearing from you.

You’ll probably be working for an architects or interior design firm or maybe a retail shop fitting or construction firm and have experience in the project management of projects up to to the value of half a million.

Your knowledge base will cover all project management and site coordination across multiple reagions and projects at once. You’ll be looking after retail or commercial orientated site fit-outs and relivant signage and hordings.

We’llbe looking for someone to be located ideally withing the east London or Eastern region although we would be willing to hear from anyone with the relivant skills. There will be a substantial amount of travel across the UK with this role.

You’ll be capable of conversing with both client, sub-contractors and office at all levels.

The main day to day job tasks will involve scoping of works, surveying the projects and producing detailed accounts and budgets as well as producing scheduals, rates and end pricing for both office and your gteam and client.
You will be responsible for making sure all relivant team members are kept briefed and that projects run smoothly through well manages supply chain management.
Specifying relivant and and suitable well skilled and located sub contracters for each project, managing all workes on and off site, esuring all workes are on spec on brief and on time.
You’ll be resposible for providing reports and updates to your team and client as appropriate.
In addition you’ll have an up to date knowledge of Health and Saftey, making sure each project is complient and carried out to a suitable high standard withing guidelines.

You’ll need an excellent ability to manage your contractors, supervising and being available as nessasary. Your ability to verbalis and communicate in writing will need to be clear, conssise and proffessional as this role is all about the detail.

As mentioned you’ll need a knowledge of H&S requirements, quilifaction such as CSCS, SSSTS, SMSTS or PASMA would be an advantage.

You’ll need to be an IT literate condidate and use Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
