Web Designer and PHP Developer – Mid Weight 

Looking for a fantastic opportunity to join a small creative and technical web development team based in Suffolk?

Our client is looking for a Web Designer and Developer on projects which will require the initial creative, design and feel of each site or page produced and then architecture and framework for the UX/I side, making sure each page is easy on the eye with a logical and intuitive user journey aspect to it.

It is a necessity that you are proficient in PHP to assist the other members of the team with development of both Front and Back-End. You’ll be free to use the technologies you find best suits each given project and work alongside other team members to bring the projects to life.

Your technical abilities must also include:

  • Strong PHP coding skills
  • Current knowledge of CMS systems and frameworks
  • Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
  • jQuery, and AJAX would be a bonus
  • Web design and development
  • WordPress - 2 years experience

We want to see applications from degree educated, career focused Web Designer Developers with some good PHP skills and an eye for detail. You’ll need a good understanding of the web development process and full 360 project lifecycle experience.
